Palio della Fortezza (San Piero a Sieve) This prize is celebrated in three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday the last week of May. The stake is held through a series of 5 games, which must be passed with the highest number of points from the four districts at the end of evidence that the district has totaled more points will win the Palio. The five tests are: Vaglio of Rena, that is a race where male time is measured physical strength; Wash basin, a female race team; Search of the Rule, or a mixed race the ultimate purpose is to search for the edge; of Running Carrette, race time between two teams; Passamano of bricks, this race is a time where there are no distinctions of sex for participation.
