House Christmas Giotto

One of the most interesting routes to visit in the country of sens'altro Vicchio is the home of Giotto. Today the house is completely different from the original, in fact many were restructuring and changes. We have written testimonies of some of these interventions, a first substantial renovation was done in 1840, while a genuine reconstruction was chased to the first floor of the destruction caused by an earthquake in 1919. The house remained half for a long time, until almost exposed to a slow but inexorable decay, was purchased by the Municipality of Vicchio that the restructured and now has permanent seat on the exhibition on the life and works of the famous artist. The museum is developing in a growing process based on professional growth-art of Giotto.
